FAQ

How do we get started or what materials should we use? Should we match our neighbors or how can we set our yard apart from the others? There are many factors that need to be considered when you invest into your property. There are drainage patterns, climate aspects, and many other things that need to be addressed to fully protect your investment. Some frequently asked questions are below, and please feel free to contact us if you have a question that you do not see the answer to below. And as we always recommend first and foremost, the best way to start is to contact us for a free estimate and to meet with one of our experienced designers who can answer all of your questions you may have.

How do we start?

To start, you need to know what it is that you want. Do you have something in mind or want to see something specific in the design? Or are you wanting something more simple and don't have a lot of input? Our designers can walk you through the planning process and can help tailor the design to your tastes and neighborhood.

What if we have a H.O.A. and need to get approval?

Many neighborhoods have a Home Owners Association and prior to performing any landscaping, you must first receive approval from your H.O.A. Most H.O.A.'s require a plan submittal to review. Some also require a certain amount of trees and shrubs that you must be in compliance with. Once again, our designers can walk you through all of this and ensure your plan will go through smoothly.

What should we expect as far as the process goes and how quickly our landscaping can be done?

The process is as follows if you hire us to perform your landscaping for you. First step, give us a call to schedule an estimate. Then, you will meet with our designer and go over anything specific you want to see in your landscaping (i.e. we want a fire pit in our back yard, xeriscaping, etc..). Our deisgner will draw up a plan and submit it to our Landscape Architect, which typically takes up to a week or so turn around time. Once we receive the Landscape Architect back, we email to you, the home owner for review. Once the drawing is exactly what you want, our designer will then put an estimate together for you. If you like the estimate and want to move forward, we then will submit the design to your H.O.A. (if applicable) for review, and once the approval is received, which can sometimes take up to a week, then we get you on the schedule. Typically, from your meeting with the designer to the start of your landscaping, can take approx 3-4 weeks.

Does your company offer any warranties?

We offer a 1 year warranty on all plants and shrubs. We require watering throughout the winter though in order to keep from voiding your warranty. We will typically contact you the following Spring from your install to schedule a walk through and will look at all the plants, trees, and shrubs and determine if any of them need to be replaced.
